Associate change request statuses with workflow types to control how a change request posts to a primary project estimate.

  • Change request status: List, View, Add

  1. Go to Projects > Setup > Change management > and select Add (circle) next to Change request status.

  2. Enter a Name.

  3. Select a Workflow type.

    Map (associate) the change request status to a workflow type (none, original, revision, forecast, approved change, pending change, or other). The workflow type controls how to post a change request to a primary project estimate.

  4. Select Save.

Mapping the None workflow type to a change request status prevents that status from posting to the estimate. For example, to prevent declined change requests from posting to estimates, map the None workflow type to a Void change request status.
